OBITUARY - 1969
Ettrick, Wis. - Leonard Bue, 73, former Ettrick hardware dealer, died Saturday, Sept. 20, in a La Crosse hospital.
He moved to Chicago after disposing of his business in Ettrick and recently returned to Ettrick following his retirement.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Fossum Funeral Home of Ettrick.

OBITUARY - 1969
ETTRICK, Wis. - Leonard S. Bue, 73, of Ettrick died Saturday in a La Crosse hosptal after an illness of two months.
He was born in North Beaver Creek, Nov. 3, 1895, to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bue. His first wife, the former Hilda Wood, preceded him in death in 1938, and he married Genevieve Erickson June 10, 1939.
Mr. Bue operated a hardware store in Ettrick a number of years before moving to Chicago, where he also operated a store. He retired two months ago and returned to Ettrick, but had been hospitalized ever since.
He is survived by his widow and two grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Dorothy) Kahon, died last month, and he was also preceded in death by two other children in infancy and a sister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Living Hope Lutheran Church, the Rev. Harold Aasland officiating, and burial will be in the Ettrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the Fossum Funeral Home in Ettrick from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and at the church Monday from 12:30 p.m. until the service will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
