OBITUARY - 1982
Ivan Hamlin, age 78, of the Golden Age Home died at 11:30. He was born on February 24, 1904 in the town of Glendale. He was the son of Preston and Mildred (Tompkins) Hamlin.
He married in 1936 to Lela Wood. He resided in the town of Anson until 1965 when he moved to Pine Harbor, Town of Lafayette. He was employed at Mason Shoe from 1949 until he retired in 1974. He entered the Golden Age Home in September of 1979.
He was preceded in death by his wife. He is survived by eleven cousins. The remains will be cremated and burial will be at the Union Cemetery, town of Goetz.
