OBITUARY - 1973
Mrs. Luella E. Johnson, 69, of R. 2, Elroy, passed away on Friday, Oct. 5, at the Mauston hospital after a long illness.
She was born on July 25, 1904, in Ellsworth, Wis. She was united in marriage to Elsmere Johnson on Sept. 10, 1924, at the East Lemonweir parsonage. They lived in this area all their married life. She was a member of the East Lemonweir Lutheran Church and of the Ladies Aid.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband; two sons, Ellsworth of Hastings, Minn., and Kermit of Wis. Dells; one brother, Kermit Falk of Idaho Falls, Ida.; one sister, Mrs. Elnora Ritchart of Brainerd, Minn.; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 8, at 2:00 p.m. frm the East Lemonweir Lutheran Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. A prayer service and visitation was held at the Hare Funeral Home.
