Noteringar
After Torbjorn's first wife, Tore, died during or after childbirth in 1849. Torbjorn was left with a newborn baby and 4 small children ages 2, twin 5 year olds and a 7 year old. Torbjorn did not remarry until almost 9 years after Tore died.
For many years Torbjorn worked as a farm tenant before taking over the Vaarstulen farm. In 1849 he was given the Vaarstulen farm from his father.
